I'm Matthew Potgieter, founder of Growthline Global. My background spans high-performance hospitality, commercial sales and competitive team environments — all of which taught me the same lesson: results come from discipline, energy, trust and people working together.
I built Growthline to bring that mindset into business development: high standards, genuine human connection and a team that cares about the outcome, not just the activity.

Where it comes from
Determination shaped long before Growthline.
Before moving into commercial sales, I trained and competed in professional culinary environments where preparation, precision and resilience were non-negotiable. Representing South Africa at the International Young Chef Olympiad and competing against chefs from around the world reinforced the value of preparation and performing under pressure.
That same competitive instinct now goes into Growthline — not as pressure for pressure's sake, but as a determination to keep improving, support the team around me and deliver work we can be proud of.
